ABOUT PROTOCOLS

Safety is the foundation.

Good habits begin with clear instruction and deliberate practice.

Rick Lapenna leads Protocols Firearms Training with a focus on responsible handling, useful fundamentals, and a learning environment where questions are welcome. Rick has over 10 years of experience using multiple types of firearms and is highly proficient in pistol, rifle and shotgun. Rick is currently working towards dual instructor certifications from both the NRA and USCCA.

The starting courses cover Firearm Safety, Ownership and Responsibilities and Range Safety & Proficiency. Private Training is available when you have a particular skill, question, or schedule in mind. More courses are being developed which are in line with both NRA and USCCA guidelines.
Sessions are offered on specific dates, so you can see exactly what is available before booking.
